Saudi Arabia vs Houthi rebels: It’s time to look beyond the US
Finally, and most controversially, Saudi Arabia could look to Israel. There is already reportedly a level of quiet cooperation between Jerusalem and Riyadh on missile defence, cyber, and special forces. This could be expanded to include naval cooperation coming from Israel’s naval base at Eilat on the Gulf of Aqaba.
