Post offices to serve as dark stores as govt expands Gujarat farmer e-commerce model to other states
“An innovative logistics partnership between India Post and FPOs has moved well beyond its pilot phase,” one person said. “Started in late November 2025 in Ahmedabad, the programme has enabled five FPOs in Gujarat to sell and deliver produce such as pulses, cumin, groundnut, snacks, chilli powder and pickles through digital storefronts.”
