Check out the companies making the biggest moves premarket: Nike — The company’s shares fell over 10% after Nike missed on revenue against LSEG consensus for its fiscal first quarter. The company reported that sales were down 4%, citing declines in its China business. The company also announced plans to layoff staff in 2027. ON Semiconductor , Synaptics — Shares for Synaptics and ON Semiconductor jumped over 14% and 7% respectively following reports that ON Semiconductor will acquire Synaptics for $123 per share in cash. The transaction is now valued at $5.7 billion from the prior agreement of $7 billion. Nexalin Technology — The medical device company’s shares fell over 18% in the premarket, after the company announced a 10-year distribution and manufacturing deal with Inovanexa Medical Technologies on Thursday. This means the company’s Nexalin Sync neurostimulation device has been approved for distribution across seven South American countries. Vylor — Shares for Vylor gained slightly after the seeds and genetics company was added to the S & P 500 on Thursday. Vylor was also spun off from Corteva on Thursday and will replace it in the S & P 500. Corteva will move to the S & P MidCap 400. Seagate Technology , Western Digital — Shares for Seagate Technology and Western Digital fell over 11% and 8% respectively, following a Nikkei report that Toshiba will double its production capacity for hard disk drives that are used in data centers and invest $380 million to expand facilities in the Philippines. The Japanese company is one of the top competitors in the HDD market along with Western Digital and Seagate Technology.
