Much has been said about whether AI will take our jobs or become smarter than us. The policy question, though, is what must remain within the human domain of decision-making. AI’s future will depend on machine intelligence but also on what humans choose to keep: work, ownership, judgement, trust—and ultimately, the freedom to say ‘This decision is still ours.’
