Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday expressed confidence that the BJP’s symbol, the lotus, would continue to gain public support across the Kashmir Valley in the coming years.
Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday said that Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a historic transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that the Union Government remains committed to the region’s peace, development, and prosperity. He expressed confidence that the BJP’s symbol, the lotus, would continue to gain public support across the Kashmir Valley in the coming years.
On his maiden visit upon becoming president, Nabin received a grand and enthusiastic welcome from party workers and leaders upon his arrival at Jammu Airport. The two-day organizational tour of Jammu and Kashmir aims to review party affairs, engage with youth, and strategize for upcoming assembly elections.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Fortnight at Mishriwala in Jammu, Nitin Nabin said that the BJP has made immense sacrifices from the time of Syama Prasad Mookerjee to the present day in pursuit of national unity and the integration of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, development has reached every corner of Jammu and Kashmir, including remote border areas that had remained neglected for decades. He added that the abrogation of Article 370 was a true tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s vision of complete national integration.
The BJP National President assured the people that the Central Government would continue to work on a priority basis for the progress, prosperity, and welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. He said the vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” has brought significant positive change across the country and strengthened national unity.
Nitin Nabin also expressed confidence that the BJP continues to grow stronger across the country and that the party’s support base in Jammu and Kashmir is steadily expanding. He reiterated the party’s commitment to building Jammu and Kashmir into a peaceful, secure, developed, and prosperous region.
Highlighting the party’s future vision, he said the BJP wants the youth, women, and senior citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to live in a safe and progressive environment with equal opportunities for growth and development.
The event was attended by BJP National General Secretary and J&K In-charge Tarun Chugh, J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, BJP National Secretary Narinder Singh, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Assembly Sunil Sharma, along with several senior party leaders and thousands of BJP workers.
