All infrastructure isn’t made of concrete: natural formations are part of India’s climate defence
India’s mangroves, wetlands and forests protect its roads, ports and cities. But the national infra focus has mostly been on build-ups of steel and concrete. As climate threats rise, policy must recognize the value of natural ecosystems, not just man-made ones.
