Elon Musk’s X restores services following outage that blocked feeds for thousands

X has restored services in India following a widespread outage that left thousands of users unable to access feeds and shared links.

According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, more than 2,533 users in India reported problems around 8.19 pm IST.

Users reported that while notifications from the platform continued to arrive, feeds failed to refresh, blocking access to new posts and interactions. Many encountered error messages such as “something went wrong, try again.”

Users flag issues online

Affected users turned to alternative platforms to highlight the outage, noting that timelines were not loading despite ongoing alerts.

No official explanation yet

The cause of the disruption has not been confirmed by the platform. The outage was not limited to India, with users in the United States also reporting similar issues.

Previous outage in February

The latest disruption follows a similar outage on February 16, when the platform—owned by Elon Musk—faced accessibility issues across multiple regions.
