Employers should not be surprised by the flight of their star employees in pursuit of happiness
Companies are often unable to retain top performers for no apparent reason. Even a big retention package doesn’t cut it. Many high-worth employees need stiffer challenges or are keen to pursue other interests. Don’t grudge them that.
