In line with preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh 2027 Assembly elections, BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Lucknow on Saturday for a crucial two-day organisational visit. Nabin, alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attended a meeting with the party’s office bearers at the state headquarters. The visit is being viewed as a major strategic effort to streamline the party’s state machinery, solidify its electoral roadmap, and sharpen its campaign strategy.

Ahead of the highly anticipated high-level review meetings, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak welcomed Nabin to Lucknow, noting that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the state’s party workers. His remarks came as thousands of party cadres lined the streets of the state capital on Saturday morning to accord a grand welcome to the national president. Speaking to reporters on the massive turnout, Pathak expressed his gratitude on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh and congratulated Nabin on his arrival.

This signifies Nabin’s first visit to Uttar Pradesh since the formation of the new state BJP team. The visit carries immense weight given that the state assembly elections are scheduled for next year, making it essential for guiding the newly constituted state unit and strengthening local organisational roots.

During his stay, the BJP chief is scheduled to hold a series of organisational meetings with senior leaders and office-bearers. He will also interact with BJP public representatives, leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), and prominent personalities from various fields. Additionally, Nabin is set to address the Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference to further motivate the party’s grassroots workers.
